Celebrate America’s independence with beautiful color displays on the landscape and in they sky at the 25th annual Booms and Blooms festival Saturday, June 29 at Powell Gardens (1609 N.W. U.S. Highway 50, Kingsville, MO.)
You should arrive early to check out the summer exhibition, Nature Connects®: Art with LEGO® Bricks. They’ll be some other hands-on activities and food trucks to enjoy before you pick out a seat by the lake to watch the fireworks set to the music of the Lee’s Summit Symphony.
Festival admission is as follows:
- Members: FREE
- Seniors: 60 & Better $10
- Adults: $12
- Children: $5 (ages 5-12)
- Children: FREE (4 and under)
- Parking: $5; FREE for members

9 a.m.: Gardens open
3 p.m. – 8 p.m.: Kids activities
3 p.m. – 6 p.m.: DJ music
7:30 p.m.: Lee’s Summit Symphony
9:30 p.m.: Fireworks
In the event of rain, the makeup date is Sunday, June 30.
