Every Monday’s a free jam session at The Blue Room at 1616 E 18th St. in Kansas City, Missouri. Monday, February 22, the session will be led by the Jazz Disciples, featuring saxophonist Gerald Dunn, bassist Tyrone Clark, drummer Mike Warren & pianist Everett Freeman. The Jazz Disciples perform original compositions and standards in a style that blends traditional Kansas City jazz and contemporary sounds.
Come down, bring your axe and sit in with the band – or just swing by to take in one of Kansas City’s best jam sessions.
