With all the talk about the tight money markets, wouldn’t it be reassuring to see big stacks of cold hard cash? Visit the Money Museum at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.
Tours are always free. They offer guided and self-guided tours. It’s actually a really interesting way to to learn more about the central bank of the United States, the nation’s financial system and their impact on everyday life.
Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, with the last entry at 3:30 p.m. Free parking is available on the west side of the building. If you take the streetcar, get off at the WWI Museum stop at 27th and Main.
