Frugal family fun goes to the farm Saturday, April 23 during the Barnyard Babies Family Festival.
Hosted by The National Agricultural Center & Hall of Fame, this event is an outdoor classroom of sorts for kids and offers a chance to experience barnyard animals up close.
Enjoy FREE train rides, crafts, hay rides, learn how to milk a cow and harvest honey, play in the corn pile, explore antique tractors and farm equipment, and more. Plans are also set for flying giant kites presented by Great American Kites.
Food and drink will be available for purchase from vendors.
The Barnyard Babies Family Festival is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Everything goes on rain or shine so bring an umbrella and rain boots along if the weather is questionable. And, wear comfortable shoes because there is lots to see and do but you’ll need to walk around to do it all.
