Kansas Citians are going to need a lot of avocados this weekend.
Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest avocado-eating days in America. According to the Hass Avocado Board, a California-based group whose purpose is to create demand for avocados in the U.S., Americans ate 162 million pounds of avocados during last year’s Super Bowl. This year, they’re banking on that number going up to 153 million pounds.
Here’s where you can get a deal on avocados in Kansas City.
