Let’s hand over some presidential flash cards because the band is getting back together.
That Thing You Do cast is reuniting online for a watch party of the 1996 comedy along with livestream commentary as a benefit for MusicCares. That organization provides assistance to members of the music community in need. The reunion was announced in a Tweet by band member Ethan Embry.
According to IMDB.com, That Thing You Do was written and directed (his first) by Tom Hanks. The movie follows the whirling success of a Beatles-like band named the Oneders (later renamed the Wonders).
You can watch the reunion of The Oneders on their YouTube channel Friday, April 17 at 6 p.m. CDT. You can expect the following cast members to be part of the gathering.

- Steve Zahn (Lenny)
