For the next two weekends (Friday and Saturday), October 20-21 and October 27-28, 2017, George Owens Nature Park is hosting a non-scary Enchanted Forest Event put on by City Theatre of Independence. Admission is $3.
Groups will be led by guides down the paved trail through the Enchanted Forest to see stories enacted at several stops along the way. There will also be a hayride and concessions.
The Enchanted Forest is open from 7 to 9 p.m.
George Owens Nature Park is at 1601 S. Speck Rd. (north of East 23rd Street and Speck Road) in Independence, Missouri.
