Celebrate the holiday season at the Kansas City Zoo this weekend. The zoo will be transformed into a festive Winter Wonderland on December 16-17, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Winter Wonderland is FREE with paid zoo admission.
Polar Bear Passage will be transformed into the North Pole while Helzberg Penguin Plaza becomes the South Pole.
Watch the lions open gifts in Africa at 10 a.m. and the penguins march outside Penguin Plaza at 11 a.m. Santa will dive with the penguins at 2 p.m.
