Winter Magic is a drive-thru Christmas lights event in Kansas City.

The festive display runs nightly through January 4, 2026. Open nightly from 6 PM.
How Winter Magic Works
Buy tickets: Purchase Winter Magic tickets online in advance (one per carload), choosing the day and time you would like to visit. Offering tickets based on time slots allows you to avoid the lines.
- December 14 – December 20: $30 (Sunday-Friday), $40 (Saturday)
- December 21 – December 27: $30 (Sunday-Saturday)
- December 28 – January 4: $20 (Sunday-Sunday)
Tips to Know:
- Online, pre-ordered tickets are cheaper than tickets at the gate. Tickets purchased at the gate are an extra $7. No cash accepted
- One ticket is good for one car-full
- Tickets are available by arrival time slots. Show up anytime during the half-hour arrival time slot on your ticket.
- Be aware that there will sometimes be a line when you get there. Reserved arrival time slots help with traffic. Expect wait times on busy holiday nights and weekends.
- Your purchase confirmation email will include your ticket and scannable QR code for admission.
- Only a portable restroom onsite, so plan restroom breaks accordingly
- Topsy’s popcorn & salt water taffy sold on-site
- Can be canceled due to inclement weather (check the website) and reschedule for a later time
- No trailers
- Vehicles over 24ft in length and over 13ft high will not be admitted and may cause damage to our displays. If your vehicle fits these sizes but holds more than 15 passengers, you will be required to buy a second ticket to enter.

Be Festive: Wear pajamas or bring along hot chocolate and cookies to make the evening extra special.
Stay Safe and Healthy: Everyone must remain in their cars while enjoying the drive-through experience. Photos must be taken from inside your car.
