Weston bills itself as the best small town in Missouri, and the Annual Weston Applefest Celebration is one of its most popular events.
A short drive from the Kansas City metro area, Applefest takes place Oct. 5-6.
The apple parade starts down Main Street at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by arts and crafts vendors, concessions, games, entertainment, and plenty of tasty apple dumplings. Many of the unique shops and restaurants will also be open.
Parking and shuttle service is $10 from the Weston Historic Orchard and Snow Creek.
