On the first weekend of every month (Friday through Sunday), more than 20 old warehouses in the Historic Kansas City West Bottoms Business District open their doors to the public for West Bottoms First Festival Weekends. Admission is FREE.
This event features antiques and vintage merchandise for sale (the warehouses restock each month, so there’s always an opportunity for new finds). There will also be food trucks, musicians and street vendors.
Individual store hours may vary, but the sale begins at 9 a.m. on Friday and ends at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Because of the success of Warehouse Weekends, more than a dozen stores are now opening every weekend. You can see a list here.
The West Bottoms Entertainment District is dog-friendly year-round. Visitors can savor the eclectic mix of foods, entertainment, and shopping with their pet.
