The crown jewel of Valentine’s Day at Alamo Drafthouse KC is a special screening the 2018 romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians on Friday, Feb. 14. Show time is at 7:30 p.m.

Your ticket includes a magnificent spread of chicken satay, pork dumplings, rice pudding and more. Add on a themed cocktail and you’ll feel crazy rich and loved for Valentine’s Day in Kansas City.

Tickets are $55 (plus taxes and fees). This may seem a little expensive, but if you break down the cost of drinks, dinner and a movie separately, this seems like a pretty good deal. And, if your Valentine’s Day plans doesn’t include a romantic date, this still seems like a fun solo or girls outing.

Love Notes

Plus, when you buy a ticket for a movie on Feb. 14, you can purchase a Love Note for an extra $5. This is a custom message (60 characters or less) for your date that appears on the screen before the show begins. Just add the option when you’re purchasing your tickets online. You’ll get an email with additional details within a couple of days.
