U-Haul is offering 30 days of FREE self-storage to college students impacted by unforeseen schedule changes at their colleges and universities.
The FREE month applies to new customers with valid college IDs and is a limited-time offer subject to availability at U-Haul owned and operated locations. Click here to find the nearest U-Haul store. Students can contact the store by phone or visit in person to take advantage of the offer.
The 30 days FREE self-storage offer also applies to usage of U-Box portable moving and storage containers. With 257 cubic feet of space and one-ton capacity, U-Box containers can be filled at U-Haul facilities and stored in one of their secure warehouses.
According to their press release, the 30 days FREE self-storage offer is typically extended to communities impacted by a natural disaster. This marks the first time U-Haul has extended the offer company-wide.
For students who have more extensive moving needs, U-Haul also offer truck or trailer rental. Students need to be 18 (as opposed to 21) and have a valid driver’s license to rent moving vans or trucks. U-Haul accepts third-party payment making it easier for family members cover the cost of a student’s moving and storage needs.
