We have a better idea.
In celebration of National Baby Safety Month (September), Walmart will reward you for trading in your old car seat.
From Sept. 16–21, 2019 bring in any car seat that is expired or your child has outgrown and receive a $30 Walmart gift card. All car seats collected in this program will be completely recycled by TerraCycle.
Program Details
Bring your car seat to the Customer Service counter of any participating Walmart retail locations by Sept. 21, 2019.
Trade-ins may not be accepted at all Walmart Neighborhood Markets. Check here to find a participating store near you.
Walmart will accept any brand of car seat, but booster seats are not eligible for this trade-in program.
There is a limit of two gift cards per household.
Walmart gift cards can be used in-store or online to buy baby items.
