Carolyn’s Pumpkin Patch

Carolyn’s offers train rides, a carousel ride, a pumpkin cannon, and the always popular pumpkin princess. They also have multiple kids’ zones and one of the most beautiful pumpkin fields around, so if you have littles you’d like to let loose to burn off energy, Carolyn’s may be the pumpkin patch for you.
Faulkner’s Ranch

Admission: Tuesday – Friday $16.95
Saturday – Sunday $21.95
Faulkner’s Ranch specializes in group events and is an excellent choice for school trips, youth groups, sports teams, and corporate events. While Faulkner’s doesn’t have a pumpkin field, they offer bonfires, wagon rides, and more!

Fun Farm is the most expensive patch on the list, but buy your tickets during their online flash sale from August 28-31 and get a hefty chunk taken off the cost of admission. The Fun Farm is on 300 acres, with many of those acres dedicated to the fun they refer to in their name. With multiple concession options and activities, including an obstacle course and a giant slide, you won’t experience a dull moment at the Fun Farm.

KC Pumpkin Patch and KC Wine Co. are all about celebrating the seasons. Their pumpkin patch season runs from September 27 through October 26. During their fall season, they offer over 60 activities and some of the best photo opportunities in town.
Kerby Fun Pumpkin Patch

Get lost in a corn maze, let your kids fly on the kiddie zipline, and head to the pumpkin field to select your own pumpkin. For $8 a head, you can have a great fall experience without breaking the bank.

Open for Sunflower and pumpkin seasons, Pumpkins Etc. is a simple patch and perfect for gorgeous photos. They have hay bales to climb on and a couple of mazes. While they do not have as many activities as some of the bigger patches, it’s hard to beat free admission.
Johnson Farms Plant and Pumpkins

Johnson Farms boasts the largest mum crop in Kansas City. They also have apple orchards, sunflowers, pumpkins, and more. Your kids can climb on an old firetruck and play in an out-of-commission school bus. The photo opportunities are endless!
The Pumpkin Pad

The Pumpkin Pad is 75 acres of fun and fresh farm air. They have food trucks, a corn maze, a cow train, and acres of pumpkins.
Weston Red Barn Farm

Red Barn Farm is more than just a pumpkin patch; it’s also located on the outskirts of the charming Weston, Missouri. If you visit the patch on October 7th or 8th, you can stop by the town’s annual Applefest and have the ultimate autumn day.
