This Friday, August 19, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., the Kansas City Power & Light District is holding a Teacher Appreciation night in conjunction with its Downtown is Happy promotion. Admission is free.
Teachers will get exclusive happy hour food and drink specials (including $1 beers) when they show their Educator IDs.
Downtown is Happy features live music and $1 Miller Light and Coors Light beers for everyone.
The Power & Light District is located across from the Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
