Chipotle is celebrating its new holiday “Extra Sunday” with the big giveaway on Feb. 10, 2025, as an ode to football fans’ desire to have the day after the big game off from work or school.

“Extra Sunday” is inspired by Americans campaigning to make the Monday following football’s highest profile event a national holiday. In 2024, an estimated 16.1 million U.S. employees planned to miss work the following day, taking it upon themselves to create an unofficial holiday.
On Feb. 10, 2025, Chipotle is letting fans score FREE guacamole and queso blanco with the purchase of any entrée at participating locations.
This is the restaurant’s first time giving customers a chance to enjoy both complimentary guacamole and queso blanco at the same time. The two toppings together are usually about $5 extra.
