Celebrate Independence Day early at the 3rd Annual Riverside ArtWalk and Go North KC Watch Party on Friday, July 3, at the new Morton Amphitheater in Riverside.
The free, family-friendly celebration is also the public’s first chance to experience the brand-new Morton Amphitheater, an outdoor venue that can accommodate up to 10,000 guests.
The event features an international soccer watch party, the Third Annual Riverside ArtWalk, family activities, food vendors and an evening fireworks show.
The Riverside ArtWalk, presented by the Riverside Chamber of Commerce and Art Garden KC, showcases Kansas City artists and makers. Browse original artwork, shop handcrafted goods and meet local creatives while enjoying the festival atmosphere.
Families can also enjoy:
- Bounce houses. Kids’ zone closes at 7:30 p.m.
- Games and interactive activities
- Food, drinks and concessions
- International soccer watch party. Matches are at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
- Fireworks to end the evening
The celebration also marks the City of Riverside’s 75th anniversary, making it a festive evening of community pride, local art and entertainment.
