What Is the Recycling Extravaganza?
The Recycling Extravaganza is a large community drop-off event where visitors can bring a mix of reusable household items, recyclable materials and select items that need special disposal. It is designed to make spring cleanout easier by giving residents and non-residents a single place to unload many items that do not belong in regular curbside pickup.
This event is especially helpful for households sorting through garages, closets, sheds, craft rooms, offices and storage spaces. Instead of making several trips around town, visitors can bring approved items to one location and let participating organizations handle reuse, donation, recycling or proper disposal.

Why This Event Is Worth Knowing About
Large cleanout days like this can save time, reduce landfill waste and connect useful items with organizations that can put them back into use. Whether you are clearing shelves, downsizing, tackling spring cleaning or just trying to get rid of hard-to-recycle materials, this event offers a practical way to make progress in one trip.
It is also a helpful reminder that many items around the home still have value. Books, bikes, supplies, clothing and building materials may be useful to someone else, while electronics, medications and paper records often need safer handling than a regular trash bag or curbside bin can provide.
