Tax Day may not be the sweetest day for all, especially if you’re getting a smaller than expected refund or, worse, you owe the government money.
However, Krispy Kreme is cutting everyone a sweet break on a dozen doughnuts.

On Tax Day, April 15, 2025, Krispy Kreme customers who purchase an Original Glazed or assorted dozen doughnuts at regular price will only pay the sales tax on a second Original Glazed dozen at participating locations.
Pricing for the second dozen will vary based on each state’s sales tax.
And anyone who orders a dozen online at regular price for pickup or delivery can use the promo code TAXBREAK to receive a second Original Glazed dozen for FREE.
There is a limit of two dozen per customer in-shop and a limit of one when ordering online for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s site or app. If you’re ordering online, use promo code TAXBREAK at checkout.
