Even though many customers are unhappy with the changes comin’ to Starbucks Rewards in April, let’s hope they continue to offer deals, like this one, for bargain hunters. Through March 6, 2016, when you make a purchase in the morning (anytime before 11 a.m.) and bring the receipt back the same day after 11 a.m., get a sandwich, salad or bistro box for just $4, while supplies last. (Given some of the sandwiches and salads are around $7, the savings can be substantial.) Remember, you do not have to redeem your receipt at the same location at which you made the morning purchase — any participating location will honor the receipt. For the budget-conscious, there’s no minimum purchase requirement for the morning receipt, so consider buying a petite vanilla scone for $1.25 or banana for $1 to keep your costs down. If you’re buying a morning round of coffee for the office (or, at least, buying more than one menu item), pay for each item separately. Then, you’ll have more “morning receipts” to share with friends, family or co-workers. Finally, since there’s no time restriction on when you can redeem the receipt (just after 11 a.m. on the same day), you could grab a sandwich or salad for dinner.
