On May 4, 2019, join in on the fun at the annual Sheep Shearing and Children’s Day at Missouri Town: 1855.
There will be demonstrations of all aspects of wool production from shearing, washing, carding, and dyeing to spinning and weaving. Children can participate in a pie eating contest and enjoy games kids played in the mid-1800’s.

- $4 for ages 5-13
- $4 for seniors 62 and over
- $7 for adults
- FREE for kids 4 and under
You’re also welcome to bring apples, pears, and carrots to feed the bison, elk and deer in the Native Hoofed Animal Enclosure right near the entrance of Missouri Town. Admission if FREE. Just park and walk up to the fence.
This family-fun event is from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
