Leap Day only comes around once every four years and the next one is on Monday, February 29, 2016. A number of restaurants are celebrating by offering discounts or freebies. Some of the deals are for everyone; others are only for people who were actually born on February 29 (Leap Day babies). We’ll add to the list as more deals come in, so make sure you check back.
- Great American Cookies: Free cookie cake for Leap Day babies.
- Krispy Kreme: Buy a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts at regular price and get a second dozen for $2.29. This deal is good for everyone.
- Margaritas: Get Leap Day margaritas and fried ice cream for $2.29 each.
- Olive Garden: Leap Day babies get four free Dolcini (a dessert layered with cake, mousse, pastry creams and berries).
- Pizza Hut – Those born on Leap Day will receive a free, one-topping Personal Pan Pizza for carryout.
- Schlotzsky’s Deli: Offers vary by location but will include one of the following: a free sandwich with purchase of chips and a 32 oz. drink, buy one get one free entrée or $1 off any sandwich on the menu. This deal is good for everyone.
- Tropical Smoothie Cafe: Club Tropical members can get any 24 oz. Classic Smoothie for just $2.29 (almost 50% off).
