Do you ever wonder what it’s like to work in one of Kansas City’s museums?
Museum curators take care of exhibits, create new displays, design education programs and much more.
Now there’s a chance to virtually connect directly with local museum professionals to ask them questions about what they do, how they go about getting new items for a museum collection, and whatever else has crossed your mind.
The American Jazz Museum, the Johnson County Museum and the National Museum of Toy and Miniatures are partnering to host Ask A Curator: a webinar with local museum curators. The FREE virtual event is 7 to 8 p.m. on June 4.
Ask A Curator Panelists Include:
- Geri Sanders – Director of Collections, American Jazz Museum
- Andrew Gustafson – Curator of Interpretation, Johnson County Museum
- Laura S. Taylor – Curator of Interpretation, The National Museum of Toy and Miniatures
The event is FREE but you’ll need to register here.
While many Kansas City Museums remain closed at this time, you can see a listing here of marvelous museums we have to offer in our city.
