I found most restaurants are willing participants when it comes to Veterans. Don’t for get your idea card, though I’ve found that is you have some proof of service, I use my Honorable Discharge certificate, they will serve you the free meal.
Anytime during the year, ask if they have discounts for vets, most do. I’m also a senior so I ask if I can blend them…LOL… unfortunately no one has done that yet, but I keep trying.
I’m a disabled Combat Vet, I’ve got my DD-214 but I’m wanting a Veteran’s ID. Could someone advise on where or how to attain one? Thanks in advance and a big Hoorah to all my fellow Vet’s on today!
I’m no expert, but I think your nearest VFW would be a good place to start. https://www.vfw.org/find-a-post
CB Daddy: Many states will add it to your driver’s license if you bring in your DD214 to the Drivers License Bureau. Kansas does, It is all yo need at places like Bass Pro and Home Depot for mil discounts.
