The Kansas City Freedom Festival will be held this Friday through Sunday, July 29-31, 2011, at Penn Valley Park. Admission is $10 for a single day or $25 for a weekend pass. If you bring five non-perishable food items for Harvesters, you’ll get a $5 discount. Kids 12 and under are free.
The festival runs from 4:00 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
This event includes a carnival, food and craft vendors, a fireworks display (Sunday night), a video game theater, face painting, hair painting, and live entertainment (including performances by Dionne Warwick, Quad City DJs, SNAP, Crystal Waters, Eden’s Edge and Kellie Pickler).
