Celebrate the 4th of July like it’s 1855!
On July 4, Kansas City Parks & Recreation hosts Independence Day at Missouri Town 1855. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Experience what life was like in the late 1800’s. Activities include patriotic speeches, period cooking, dancing, children’s games, and more in this mid-19th century village.
All visitors are invited to march in the Missouri Town Independence parade happening at Noon.
