HBO is unlocking a treasure trove of FREE programming for homebound viewers looking for something to watch.
Almost 500 hours of programming will be available as FREE streaming content without a subscription. Never before has HBO offered a mass quantity of its programming available for no charge. No end date has been announced for the goodwill gesture.
To access, you can watch via computer in a web browser ( hbonow.com or hbogo.com) or download the HBO Now or HBO Go app for your smart TV or streaming device.
Regular HBO fans will notice some big shows like Game of Thrones or Big Little Lies are missing. There is still some pretty good stuff to watch including The Sopranos, The Wire, True Blood, The Lego Movie 2 and some documentaries.
