Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore, a hilarious comedic operetta, comes to City Stage this weekend March 9-11, 2018. Admission is $15. Union Station members receive a reduced admission of $11.
A synopsis on their website says:
“A navy captain’s daughter … falls in love with a common sailor… . Her father is in favor of a match with, the First Lord of Admiralty… . Hilarity ensues with a surprise twist ending! Join us aboard the ship as we poke fun at the Royal Navy and the rise of unqualified people to positions of authority.”
