Come celebrate the fifth year of GloWild at the Kansas City Zoo! It’s an amazing nighttime experience where the family can enjoy admiring GIANT handcrafted art.

This year, all the art is about “Hidden Treasure,” with scenes inspired by ancient shipwrecks, buried treasure sites and overgrown jungle landscapes.
It’s a mile-long immersive lighted experience
With more than 150 artisans using 34 tons of steel, along with 89,000 feet of fabric, this display is amazing for all ages to enjoy. It takes about 1 hour to walk through and complete.
There will be free family fun activities that are included with the GloWild admission. These include carousel rides, train rides, Halloween-themed lanterns through October 31, plus classic games like checkers, cornhole and more. Flying Flamingo Zipline rides are available from 6 to 9 p.m., weather permitting, for $8 ($5 for FOTZ Premier members).
On Wednesday nights, visitors can also see the Sobela Ocean Acquarium.

Where & When
The event runs September 11 through December 27, from Wednesday through Sunday. Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. through October 31, and 5:30 to 10 p.m. November 1 through December 27. The attraction is closed Mondays and Tuesdays. On October 10, it is open only to Brew at the Zoo guests.
Admission is $22 to $24 online and $26 tp $28 at the gate. You can buy season passes for $37to $39. There are also family packs and zoo combo tickets, plus packages. You can see all the options and buy tickets here.
