This Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., the City of Independence, Missouri is hosting a kids’ winter wonderland and tree lighting ceremony. Admission is free.
Mayor Reimal will throw the switch at 6:00 p.m.
This event also includes:

- Sleigh rides ($)
- Face painting
- Cookie decorating
- A coloring station
- Food vendors
- Visits with Slugger (the Royals Mascot)
