I know. I know. The Kansas City International Airport has been known as MCI for years, but it will always be KCI to me. Anyway, I wanted to try the Park Air Express valet parking service before I posted their coupon for free parking at KCI, so I checked it out last week when I went out of town.
Okay, it’s still a van, not a limo, but it’s really pretty convenient. You make a reservation online, print your reservation, then give it to the valet when you drop your car at the Park Air Express lot at KCI. They load and unload your bags for you and drop you at the terminal. They also give you a free copy of USA Today. The site claims they provide free water and coffee as well, but I guess you have to go inside for that. I wasn’t offered either.
When you get back in town, you call the number on your claim ticket and they pick you up, load your bags for you, then transfer your bags to your car at the Park Air Express lot while you step inside and pay your bill. I called as soon as the bags for my flight hit the carousel and Park Air Express arrived to pick me up before I claimed my bags.
The Park Air Express service costs $7 per day (as opposed to $6 per day for economy parking). The coupon entitles you to one free day with a minimum 2-day stay. You do have to fill out a brief form (name, address, etc.) in order to get the coupon.

Thanks Julie, we’re going to use this in April. I got this through Nic’s Facebook. eH
