I read about this in The Kansas City Star Magazine a couple of weeks ago. Populous (formerly HOK Sport Venue Event), an architectural firm that builds sports stadiums and arenas is offering a free tour of its model shop on Friday, September 10, 2010. The model shop features small replicas of many of the stadiums the firm has built; it’s the largest in-house architectural model shop in the country. The tour is free, but you have to register in advance by e-mailing media@populous.com. Include the full names of everyone you’re bringing with you.
