On Saturday, April 17, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., teen designers from Johnson County will be presenting original designs inspired by the written word.
Poetry in Motion—Runway & Rhymes is an annual fashion show sponsored by the Johnson County Library. Local teen designers will present their “fashion lines” that were inspired by poetry, music, and other forms of literature. Several local boutiques will also be presenting their designs, and local teen poets will be reading their poetry.
This event, which is designed to promote teen literacy and Johnson County Library teen programs, will be held at the Johnson County Central Resource Library at 9875 West 87th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.
