This Wednesday, September 20, 2017, gather your friends for a FREE Symphony Happy Hour at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
Cash bars will open at 5 p.m. in the Kauffman lobby. A one-hour casual concert in Helzberg Hall will begin at 6 p.m.
The Kansas City Symphony will perform Smetana’s String Quartet No. 1 “From My Life” and arrangements from Richard Strauss’ mischievous “Till Eulenspeigel’s Merry Pranks.”
