Fourth of July fireworks and fun are at Corporate Woods on July 4 for the Overland Park Star Spangled Spectacular celebration.
Admission is FREE. Attendees can food, fireworks and outdoor concerts.
Guests may bring picnic blankets and chairs, but pop-up tents are not allowed at Star Spangled Banner. Coolers are allowed, so bring along water and your own snacks and food. Alcohol is not allowed in any Overland Park city parks.
Food trucks are on site if you want to make purchases once you arrive.
Star Spangled Banner Schedule of Activities
Event schedule:
Visitors can arrive any time on the 4th.
5 p.m. – Food trucks open, follow your nose to barbecue, funnel cakes, hot dogs and more.
5 p.m. – National Guard Band kicks off the night with patriotic music.
6 p.m. – Superstar Mafia brings the pop and rock.
7 p.m. – Run With It amps up alternative rock energy
8:15 p.m. – The Rock Gods take the stage with epic tribute hits by Van Halen, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi and more.
9:55 p.m. – David Williamson performs the National Anthem.
10 p.m. – Mayor Curt Skoog counts down the fireworks.

Fireworks begin around 10:00 p.m.
Star Spangled Banner Location & Parking
Overland Park Star Spangled Banner is at Corporate Woods Founders’ Park, 9711 109th Street, Overland Park, KS 66210. Parking is FREE.
Visitors can enter Corporate Woods Founders’ Park at any time on Independence Day. Parking is available in any open Corporate Woods parking lot.
Don’t forget to bring blankets, chairs, food, water, and coolers. Alcohol and pop-up tents are prohibited.
