On Saturday, June 5, 2010, visit the City Market between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for Saucy Salad Day.
This event includes free admission and free activities. Dozens of local farmers will be selling their goods throughout the market square.
Free activities include:
- A Saucy Salad Recipe contest
- Themed games
- Kid’s art projects at the Wonderscope Art Center
- Storytelling with Mother Nature
- Juggling with produce

The City Market is located at 5th & Walnut in Downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
