On Sunday, May 31, 2015, the Kansas City Rose Society is holding a Rose Day Celebration in Loose Park to celebrate the 14-year, $2 million renovation of the garden. Admission is free.
From 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., there will be a Rose Show in the Garden Center. The celebration will take place at 3:00 p.m. with free ice cream, lemonade, and bottled water; entertainment by bag pipers and the KC Youth Ballet; and more
