This Friday, January 25, 2013, the Midwest Genealogy Center is hosting a presentation titled Cemetery Art: What Does that Thing on the Headstone Mean? Admission is free. Registration is required.
Ellen Miller will discuss cemetery icons and what they mean; she will also give a brief overview of the history of funerary practices.
The presentation starts at 10:00 a.m. and is for adults only.
