Free Pop-Up Wedding Gathering and Open House

Getting married?

Plan to attend one of two FREE pop-up wedding gathering and open houses hosted by Longview Mansion in Lee’s Summit, MO.

These events give you a chance to tour the venue, meet wedding service vendors, enjoy sweet treats and cocktails and get a little inspiration for wedding day decor.

There are two dates to choose from. Both are free, but an RSVP is needed for planning purposes.

Thursday, Jan. 23 – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 1 – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A Little Bit About Longview Mansion

Longview Mansion is located at 1200 Longview Park Drive, Lee’s Summit, MO.

According to their website, Longview Farm was the country estate of Kansas City lumber baron and philanthropist, R.A. Long. In its prime, the farm employed 200 people. There were 51 buildings on the property including a horse race track that seated up to 1,000 people; giant sparkling greenhouses; handsome barns with wood pegged floors for prize cattle and hogs; a police and fire department; a hotel for men; housing for employees; a church, and community newspaper.

Longview Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
