Prepare yourself for this summer’s Off the Wall Film Series, a lineup of FREE outdoor movies hosted in downtown Kansas City on the Central Library Rooftop Terrace.
Every third Friday, May through September, doors open at 8 p.m. Screenings start at approximately 8:45 p.m.
Space is limited so you need to RSVP online or by calling 816-701-3407.
Bring along blankets, folding chairs as well as your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Please skip the glass containers.
Off the Wall Film Series Schedule 2022
This summer, the Off the Wall Film Series theme is CAGE Match!
Each month, movie lovers get to vote online for one of two movies on the lineup. Both feature actor Nicholas Cage, but only one with the most votes will be shown.
June 17: Moonstruck (1987) v Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)
July 15: Raising Arizona (1987) v Valley Girl (1983)
August 19: The Rock (1996) v Con Air (1997)
September 16: National Treasure (2004) v Face/Off (1997)
In the event of bad weather, the film is cancelled.
Central Library Location & Parking
The Central Library is the main library of the Kansas City Public Library system and is located at 14 W 10th St, Kansas City, MO. The Rooftop Terrace is on the fifth floor.
Parking is available in the Library District parking garage at 10th and Baltimore. Bring your parking ticket inside for validation. Don’t forget you can take the KC Streetcar to the Library stop at 9th and Main.
