UPDATE: The National Endowment for the Arts and Blue Star Families have decided to cancel the Blue Star Museums free admission program for summer 2020, due to hardships and public health concerns created by current events. The program is scheduled to return in 2021.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, Blue Star Museums is offering FREE admission to 2000+ museums nationwide to active-duty U.S. military personnel and their families.
The Museums on Us program is open to members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserves, and up to five immediate family members. In order to get FREE museum admission, you’ll need to show a Geneva Convention common access card (CAC), DD Form 1173 ID card (dependent ID), or a DD Form 1173-1 ID card.
