On Saturday, April 18, 2015, the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) and the Kansas City CARE Clinic will be holding a one-day FREE medical clinic event at Bartle Hall in Kansas City for those who have no or limited access to health care. Parking will also be free. Appointments are recommended (800) 340-1301. Walk-ins will be seen only as resources are available on a limited first-come, first-served basis.
The clinic runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services will include:
- Medical exams
- Medical tests, including: diabetes test, cholesterol test, pregnancy test, EKGs
- 3 FREE months of prescribed medication
- Health insurance navigation
- Connection to local follow-up care
- Health education and connection to area resources
- Dental care (extractions only)
- HIV testing
- Kidney function screening
- Behavioral health care
If you are currently taking prescription medications, bring your medication bottles.
