Official hours of Third Fridays in Downtown Overland Park are 5 to 8 p.m., but some things start earlier and many businesses are open well beyond 8 p.m.

April 15: Compost Collective at the Clock Tower (Early Earth Day Celebration for Third Fridays)
May 20: Sip and Shop. This is a ticketed event with wine.
June 17: Downtown OP Car Show (Third Fridays). Contemporary and classic cars, trucks, motorcycles and hot rods line the streets around Thompson Park in Downtown Overland Park. Music on stage starts at 6:30 p.m. Cars are on display from 5 to 7 p.m.
June 24 and 25: Downtown Overland Park Art Fair
July 15: Sidewalk Sale (Third Fridays)
July 17: Santa’s Rock the Block Party. A jolly good time with a tropical holiday theme can be had in Downtown Overland Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Enjoy foods, drinks, surfing Santa, costume contest, games and music.
August 19: Party in the Park (Third Fridays). Burn off energy of back-to-school excitement with a FREE concert, yard games, food trucks and more at Thompson Park in Downtown Overland Park.
September 16: Dog Days (Third Fridays)
