On Saturday, June 2, 2018, Bass Pro Shops and the Conservation Department of Missouri are sponsoring the Annual Walter Buck Memorial Fishing Derby in Raymore.
This FREE fishing derby is open to kids ages 15 and under. Check-in is at 8 a.m. The derby begins at 9 a.m.
Prizes will be awarded for:
- Biggest fish
- Casting contest
- Most fish caught
To participate in the derby, kids must bring their own fishing pole, bait, and tackle. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The Walter Buck Memorial Fishing Derby will be held at Johnson Lake in Hawk Ridge Park, which is located at 701 Johnston Parkway in Raymore, Missouri.
