Introduce your kids to the sport of fishing at the 37th annual kids’ fishing derby on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Lake Jacomo. Admission is FREE.
A casting clinic and other demonstrations will help kids ages 2-15 hone their skills. Children should bring their own tackle, bait, and buckets to hold their catch.
The derby takes place at the south boat dock and beach, across from the campground just north of Colbern Road. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
Lake Jacomo is located at 9200 Beach Road in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
