Are your kiddos curious about how apps, websites, and computer software are made? Every second Saturday of the month, Google Fiber hosts a free Coder Dojo KC class for kids from 9 am to noon. Please register here.
Your child should arrive to class with a wi-fi enabled laptop, preferably with the Chrome browser installed. If your family does not have a laptop, Coder Dojo has a limited number of laptops to borrow. Parents/guardians must remain in class with their child(ren) if they are under 13.
Coder Dojo KC is a group of techie volunteers and sponsors who teach kids (ages 7-17) how to code, problem solve, think critically, create and collaborate. We are so fortunate to have a group like this in Kansas City!
Google Fiber is located at 1814 Westport Road in Kansas City, Missouri.
