On Saturday, September 8, 2012, the Kansas City Power & Light District is hosting its 3rd Annual 14th Street Jazz Festival. Admission is free.
This event, which runs from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m., will feature live music along 14th street (Darcus Gates, Clint Ashlock & The New Jazz Order Big Band, the Will Matthews & Bobby Floyd Quartet with Special Guest Bobby Watson, Kerry Strayer & Some Like It Hot, and JWB with Special Guest Ron Gutierrez). There will also be live entertainment at Gordon Biersch Brewery, Drunken Fish, Maker’s Mark Bourbon House & Lounge, Bristol Seafood Grill, and Bar Louie.
The Kansas City Power & Light District is located in the heart of Downtown Kansas City, between Grand Boulevard and Baltimore Street, and 12th Street and Truman Road.
