The concept of celebrating bugs is a little hard for me to wrap my head around, but in honor of Earth Day, I’ll give it a try (after all, it’s a little early in the season for mosquitos). If you and your kids are open to celebrating bugs, Lakeside Nature Center is the place to go on Saturday, April 24, 2010. At the free Earth Day Festival, there will be:
- Tattoos and crafts
- StoneLion puppet shows
- A bug walk
- Learning stations
The free Earth Day event celebrating bugs in from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The puppet shows are at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
