Through July 3, 2016, Tomahawk Creek Golf Course is offering free FootGolf.
FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf. “FootGolf is a precision sport where players kick a soccer ball into a cup – in as few shots as possible,” said Tomahawk Hills Golf Professional Jay Lispi. “There is a special cup for FootGolf to hold a soccer ball for when they hole out. The rules used in golf are also used in FootGolf. This is fun for everyone, especially families looking for an inexpensive activity for everyone to play.”
Although it’s free to play, you’ll need to bring a soccer ball for each player, or you can rent them at the clubhouse for $3. No soccer cleats are allowed.
Following the week of free play, regular FootGolf fees for adults will be $7 for nine holes, and an additional $3 to go around the course again. For juniors under 18, the cost is $5, and $2 for a second round. Carts are not required, but can be rented for $8 for nine holes, and $4 for a second round.
Tomahawk Hills Golf Course is located at 17501 Midland Drive in Shawnee, Kansas.
